Ethanol Rampant, Mogas Users Warned

AOPA is warning aircraft owners who normally use automotive fuel purchased off the airport to test the gas for ethanol even if the pump doesn't say there's alcohol in the fuel. The federal government mandate to increase the use of renewable fuels in gasoline blends has prompted some companies to add ethanol without notification and that can be dangerous for aircraft engines.

Aero-Space Staff Celebrates Vicki's 50th Birthday

Aero-Space Reports' office manager, Vicki, celebrated her fiftieth birthday on Friday, April 18, 2008.  The staff surprised Vicki by decorating her office with black and white balloons, black streamers, "Over-the-Hill" confetti and outdoor signs.  We also surprised her by shoe polishing the windows of her car and the staff dressed in black in honor of the occasion.
